About Blue Moon
Blue Moon Swing is a west coast swing dance hosted by John Quarto-vonTivadar.
I love to dance! Dancing has done a lot for me personally, and I give back to the dance community by hosting you as my guests at this dance.
This is a donations-based dance. That means the cover charge is as low as I can make it to cover the cost of the venue, which I otherwise pay out of my own pocket. If possible, I offer the dance for free. Any extra monies are donated to dance charities, or raffles for local events or etc. . I do not make any money off of my dance events.
(Since I started doing BMS almost a decade ago, thousands of dollars have been donated to worthy dance causes).
There’s even a free intermediate lesson. All you have to do is show up.
The current Blue Moon Swing dances are in Houston, Texas.
Of course, if you’d like to make a large donation, I won’t say no. It helps keep the cost down for everyone, and I appreciate that your support helps build a stronger dance community for us all.
